(8) Attorneys: The purpose of this Blanket Purchase Agreement is to obtain professional litigation support services.  Tasks shall include, document searches, relevancy reviews, privilege reviews and preparation of privilege logs, redactions of privileged information and redaction logs, bates numbering, indentification of parent/child relationships, preparation of text load files or similar report indexing of responsive documentation along with associated metadata, and preparation of production sets of responsive documents. Quality Assurance/Quality Control for all tasks shall be developed and implemented by the attorneys.

Brief Description of Contract Requirements
Paralegal: Provision of eight (8) paralegals, to perform electronic document review (CD, DVD or website), factual research, deposition preparation, provide assistance to attorneys and other staff, document management and interview memorandum writing. The original contract was for eight (8) paralegals and was to have only been for a one-month period. The staff provided excellent research and requested that the contract be extended for an additional four months.

Executive Assistant: Independently carried out a full range of secretarial duties supporting three associate directors and their staff. This candidate assisted with drafting correspondence and reports, arranging meetings, acquiring services, maintaining appointment calendars, arranging travel and preparing expense vouchers, completing government personnel forms and answering phones. Candidate was hired as a permanent employee.

Brief Description of Contract Requirements
Clerical Assistant: Assisted the supervisor with administrative duties consisting of compiling data for monthly reports and drafting memoranda. When new exhibits were introduced, or changes were made to policies within the volunteer program. Drafted memo that would be placed at all of the information desks for the volunteers. Scheduled volunteers to work at the information desks throughout the institution. Responsible for approximately 200 volunteers, and serve as a liaison between volunteers and museum staff. Provided administrative support to the office, updated volunteer files in database and answer volunteer questions via phone and e-mail.

Attorneys: Draft contracts and agreements for a wide variety of services, supplies and equipment to support Smithsonian projects and programs. Generate and/or review solicitation documents such as Requests for Proposals, source selection memorandums, and other various documents. Review statements of work for accuracy and completeness. Provide service to SI customers via telephone, e-mail and in person. Using practical and functional knowledge of Federal contracting and Smithsonian policies, advise customers about their contracting needs, including sources, contracting law, intellectual property, etc. Provide contract administration services such as review of audits, review of payrolls, etc.
